Our support services are geared towards women who have experienced violence in any form, such as domestic or family violence, sexual violence, armed conflict, harassment…
They are confidential, free, and are offered in a safe and welcoming environment

Transitional and Housing Support
Our transitional support program is designed to support each woman to create her own safety plan, prepare her transition, find housing, identify personalized solutions according to her needs and live a violence-free relationship.

Counselling
Counselling allows the woman to express herself in complete confidentiality, to be heard and to speak in confidence without judgment. This service allows each woman to gather her bearings and move on despite hardships, in order to regain self-confidence and take charge of her life.

Expressive Art Therapy
The Art Therapy program takes place in individual sessions during which personal experience is explored through artistic creation, allowing for discovery of new strengths to help overcome life’s obstacles.

Community Services
Through our community services, we offer support to enable women to achieve personal, social and economic well-being. We also work with the community in order to prevent violence and discrimination, with the goal of creating a safe and inclusive society.

Immigrant and Refugee Women’s Program
Our settlement services respond to newcomers’ basic needs with individual counseling throughout the migratory process. We accompany women as they navigate the immigration system, seek housing, and use social services as well as to medical and legal appointments. ActionFemmes is a community activity which allows women to escape isolation, obtain important information and socialize.

Élan: Employment Program
This program aims to assist women as they seek employment with individualized career counseling. Computer classes are also offered to enable women to pursue their job search independently.

Entrepreneurship and Economic Development
Our entrepreneurship program allows women to develop the tools they need to start a business or become self-employed. We offer a series of workshops enabling the participants to share and network. After the workshops, participants continue to receive one-on-one support as well as mentorship with experienced professionals.

Community Development, Prevention and Awareness
This program aims to educate the public and spread awareness on violence against women in order to foster community involvement towards the cause. This is done through workshops and community partnerships.
Our activities include:

- Neighbours, Friends and Families Campaign
